Gain balance through meditation

Meditation is listening to the song of the inner Soul, seeing the beauty of the inner Self, smelling the fragrance of the inner Spirit, experiencing the touch of the Divine inner energies and tasting the intense sweetness of the inner God. — Amit Ray

This week received a timely email newsletter from Reid Tracy, the CEO at Hay House which really brought a few things home. We think you’ll like it too:

“This week I want to revisit an ongoing theme in my life, meditation. Louise Hay writes about the importance of meditation and I try to do it every day. But I have to admit sometimes it’s hard to do. It’s not that I don’t want to, life just gets busy! This week I was late writing my newsletter because some unexpected things came up that I needed to handle. I am sure you all can relate to unexpected things interrupting your plans.

Anyway, I was running out of time and started to stress out. Then I remembered what Louise says — breathe in, breathe out, and just get quiet. I told myself, okay, let’s just meditate for 15 minutes and hopefully get some inspiration and renewed energy to get it written. At first it felt impossible to eliminate all the other million thoughts running through my head. Quiet, I thought, I need a topic! Then it hit me, I have a topic. My own experience reminded me — to remind you – to try or resume meditating even if just for 5 to 15 minutes a day.

Like Louise says, “I do not fix problems. I fix my thinking. Then problems fix themselves.”

At ZenMindPower we have found daily meditation to be the most beneficial practice to a calm and collected mind. It’s the most important start to the day. At Hay House you will find a FREE meditation podcast that has over 50 guided meditations, with many of those meditations on the Hay House Meditation Facebook page.

They also offer dozens of meditation downloads available for purchase on the Hay House website, including two of their bestsellers – Morning and Evening Meditations by Louise Hay (that literally millions of people use every day) and Meditations for Manifesting from Dr. Wayne Dyer. These two resources have helped millions and Wayne used to read letters from people using Meditations for Manifesting at his lectures, talking about the incredible things they were able to manifest into their lives including healings, money, vacations, a new relationship, a new career — the list goes on and on.

There are many books at Hay House about the multiple benefits of meditation, from reducing stress, improving health, increasing energy, and improving mental clarity — just to name a few.

So, give meditation a try. Commit to meditating for 3 of the next 5 days; see how you go from there. The more you meditate and start to see the benefits the more you will want to continue the practice. Whilst it doesn’t just ‘happen’ overnight, as time goes on you will notice that you react and respond to testing situations in a calmer manner. It is then that you will really understand the true benefits of meditation, and you will be hooked. But the only way is to experience it for yourself, and for that you must commit time.
